Aira advises our attorneys in the field of competition law and market regulations, mainly focusing on issues related to the abusive behaviors and restricted anti-competitive agreements. Aira has a comprehensive experience in preclusion and elimination of the prevention, limitation or restriction of competition with business activities.

Before joining Hedman, Aira worked at the Competition Authority as a chief specialist, where her duties mainly involved resolving disputes between transport, energy and financial market participants, as well as conducting competition supervision proceedings over e-commerce and advertising market participants. Aira has additional experience in conducting misdemeanor proceedings. Aira has contributed towards the electronic communications market analyses and towards the revision of the regulation of the railway sector. She advises clients addition to Estonian and European competition law rules on current changes in legislation on electronic communication and railway sector. Additionally, Aira has represented the Competition Authority at the Directorate General for Competition meetings.
